FREDERIC VANOTTI

Frederic Vanotti

On horseback since 1963 and a plastics specialist , I have always sought to improve riding products . The idea of creating a bar made of composite materials came to me.

After years of using wooden bars , I noticed their drawbacks : the weight increases with the rain, making the bars untransportable , and the painting has to be redone every year. The plastic bars were not satisfactory, with too much sag and often single-colored . Thanks to the section , the use of high-performance composite materials is now possible.

First international exhibition

SPOGA in Germany in 2016 with the Hippolia Pole team.

At that time, only the section was part of the collection, and only in fiberglass- reinforced polypropylene .

That year, Barnotti received the bronze medal at the Paris Horse Show innovation competition!

First section

The first section was born in 2015 with a blow mold . After obtaining a PATENT , it was necessary to invest in injection tooling to allow large-scale production . Initially, polyurethane injection foaming was done by hand.

Later, the installation of pre-cut foam inside the sections significantly improved production time .

Ballast bottle for section

It was not until 2023 that the ballast bottle appeared. Indeed, following the demand from customers wishing to have an adjustable bar weight, the idea of using a ballast bottle emerged.

Over the years

Over the years, the collection has expanded with the bases , now replaced by the feet-notti , and the cup-notti , allowing you to make a candle and have the possibility of creating a complete obstacle . The range of sections has also expanded with the arrival of the pro section , designed for intensive use and allowing you to have an even heavier bar.
